Turning a handful of images into an animated GIF should not require an account or leave a watermark across the result. This free gif maker online encodes everything in your browser.\n\nDrop your images in and they are sorted naturally by filename — so frame2 lands before frame10, which plain alphabetical sorting famously gets wrong — then reorder anything by hand. Set the frame delay anywhere from 40 milliseconds to a full second, choose whether it loops, and optionally enable ping-pong so the sequence plays forwards then backwards and returns cleanly to the start.\n\nBeing upfront about the format's limits: GIF allows only 256 colours per frame. Photographs and smooth gradients will band, and no encoder can fix that — it is what GIF is. Flat graphics, UI recordings, diagrams and line art come out looking exactly right, which is why GIF has survived for those uses.\n\nFrames of differing sizes are letterboxed onto the first frame's dimensions rather than stretched, since GIF has no per-frame sizing. If the result is too heavy, reduce the width before dropping frames — file size scales with pixels, so halving the width removes about three quarters of the data at far less visual cost.
