A distraction-free notepad that autosaves in your browser. Multiple notes, word count, download as .txt. No account, nothing uploaded.
First time here? Start typing — the note saves itself Your input is processed locally and disappears when you close the tab.
Sometimes you need somewhere to put text right now — a phone number read out over a call, a paragraph you are rewriting, a list you will act on in ten minutes. Opening a document, naming it, and choosing a folder is more ceremony than the task deserves. This free online notepad is the alternative: open the tab and type.\n\nEverything saves automatically about half a second after you stop typing, into your browser's own storage. There is no account, no sync, and no upload, which is what makes it instant. It is also the honest limitation: notes live on this device in this browser, so they will not appear on your phone, and clearing your browsing data removes them. Download anything you actually need to keep.\n\nYou can hold as many notes as you like, each titled automatically from its first line so the sidebar stays readable without you naming anything. A live word and character count sits under the editor, useful when you are writing to a limit.\n\nOne thing worth saying plainly: local storage is not encrypted, so this is not the place for passwords or anything genuinely sensitive. For everything else it is the fastest text box on your machine. Pair it with the Word Counter for detailed statistics, or the Text Cleaner when you have pasted something messy.
